Tyler the Creator won this year’s VMA for Best New Artist, beating out Kreayshawn, Wiz Khalifa, and Big Sean. Tyler was clearly ecstatic when he won the award. Nascar: Jeff Gordon Gets Third 2011 Victory; Third Most Wins Ever!
Posted by Sabrina B. @gametimegirl Jeff Gordon has won the rain-delayed NASCAR race at Atlanta Motor Speedway for his third victory of the season and 85th of his career. Gordon held off Jimmie Johnson by about a half-second to win the AdvoCare 500, only the second Cup race since 1978 to be run on a Tuesday. It was originally scheduled for Sunday night, but rain from the remnants of Tropical Storm Lee forced a two-day postponement.
NBA: Ron Artest Guarantees Lakers Will Win NBA Championship
Posted by Sabrina B. @gametimegirl It may all feel like a distant memory of the Lakers winning  the 2010 NBA title considering how the Lakers ended the 2011 postseason with a four-game sweep to the Dallas Mavericks in the Western Conference semifinals. But Artest guaranteed to ESPN Los Angeles’ Stephen A. Smith in a 40-minute interview Wednesday that the Lakers will again pop the champagne bottles after winning the 2012 NBA title. Assuming there’s a season of course.
