Today marks the 2nd anniversary of DJ AM’s tragic death. AM, whose real name was Adam Michael Goldstein, was a DJ, TV show host, record producer and a self-proclaimed sneaker head. AM was a member of rock band Crazy Town, worked with artists such as Blink 182/Travis Barker, Will Smith, Papa Roach, and Madonna. AM was found dead in his New York City apartment from a drug overdose. AM, who had spent time in rehab for drug addiction, had relapsed after a plane crash on September 19, 2008 in which he lost a friend and almost died. AM sustained severe burns to his hands and head, but eventually made a full recovery. After taking time off from DJing after the plane crash, AM returned to the ones and twos during a Jay-Z concert. This makes me breathe a huge sigh of relief. With rumors of a seperation, cheating, walking in on the other and more…things didn’t seem too great. And pictures are worth 1000 words. Then again…these two are both professional actors. Any photo opp can be staged. Let’s hope this is the real deal. I’d hate to see a beautiful 13 year marriage go out like that. Nooooooo!! I am so depressed. According to In Touch Weekly, the cutest, most seemingly solid couple ever have reportedly ended their 13 year marriage. I hope this is just a rumor gone wrong.
