One of the people talking about Denzel and his new role is his wife, Pauletta. In “Flight” Denzel plays Whip Whitaker, a pilot whom is a stone cold alcoholic and “sniffer”. Whip eventually goes to rehab, but not without arguing, yelling, and fighting everything in his way. Pauletta finds the role a disturbing one and is not at all impressed.
