In a stand to go from $7.25 an hour to $15 an hour, McDonalds, Wendy’s and Burger King workers go on strike all across the globe. The protests turned into arrests today in New York City’s Times Square as the demonstrators sat in the middle of the streets and blocked traffic. 14 men and five women were taken down by police. It’s not just New York state where these strikes are taking place. Workers in more than 100 cities across the country have participated in the strike to make a higher earning. Detroit, Chicago and Las Vegas have taken part. It’s even gone as far as the strikers leaving their cities to form bigger crowds in other cities. St. Louis and Ferguson, MO workers took plane and train trips paid for by the striker’s coalition and SEIU to NYC. Check down bottom for more.

A Wendy’s employee was arrested last month in Georgia … after allegedly making a cheeseburger with marijuana. According to the Lovejoy Police Department, 32-year-old Amy Seiber was busted during her shift on November 1 … after a customer called 911, complaining she had found half of a smoked blunt in her cheeseburger. WTF?! The customer met with police at the Wendy’s location where she ordered the burger, and cops claim Seiber immediately admitted the blunt was hers. The police say, Seiber said she had been smoking the L on the job and conveniently “misplaced” the blunt inside the customer’s burger … right on her pickle. The joint was taken as evidence and Seiber was arrested for possession of marijuana and she was fired on the spot. The customer had experienced food poisoning-type symptoms after the incident and had to be hospitalized. Wendy’s has offered to help pay for her medical bills … and has even generously thrown in a $50 gift certificate. SMH, not even free food for life. A rep for Wendy’s tells TMZ, “Obviously the employee broke the rules and did not follow proper food handling steps … We are deeply sorry that this incident occurred.” The rep says the franchisee is working out a favorable solution with the customer, including paying her medical bills. Horrible!

KimYe made a pit-stop to a Wendy’s in Philly so Ye’ could stuff his face real quick before hitting the stage in Boston for his “Yeezus Tour.” Of course, Kimmy Cakes stayed far away from the processed food as she played with her phone (probably in utter disgust) as she flashed her big ol’ engagement ring. This go-round, 2 Chainz explains how him and a few friends made an attempt at robbing a Wendy’s and FAILED miserably. “2 Chainz was top of my list to get on my show, and now its done. He killed it like I knew he would. And don’t ever accuse him of buying a coach bag for no chicks.
