In lieu of the impending Government Shutdown that the U.S. is facing, the Senate is currently meeting to discuss spending, figuring out what strings need to be pulled for the Affordable Care Act to get passed, and speaking on what needs to get done in order for the Government to stay fully operational. Also known as “Obamacare,” the Affordable Care Act provides universal healthcare for all, but there is a huge amount of controversy surrounding it. This has been a bill that President Obama has been fighting long and hard to pass, but has yet to successfully do so due to conflicting views in the Senate amongst political parties. However according to President Obama, if the Affordable Care Act does not get passed by the Republican party immediately, the Government will be completely shut down until further notice. As a bartender/server, the absolute WORST thing is to find out that somebody is super cheap. Thankfully for President Obama, that is not the case. After dining at Magnolia’s Deli & Cafe in Rochester, NY– Obama left a tip ON TOP of the 20% gratuity that was already included. (Getting double tipped can make a server feel like God, BTW.) Kicks of the day are the Nike Lebron X Low “USA” which dropped today at select Nike retailers among many other sneakers that released today. The shoe features a Squadron Blue/Sunburts-Shaded Blue-Sail colorway with speckled laces and a icy blue bottom. I chose these shoes ultimately off the fact Lebron James has been making major moves. He was just recently honored with the “Most Popular NBA player” poll knocking off the Black Mamba (Kobe Bryant). He also will be said to be releasing the “Zoom Generation” as his first Retro shoe next year. Is it too early for Bron? I think not, he’s been in the game for over 10 years now.
