NO, Tyler, The Creator did not pass away. If you see any reports to the contrary today, it’s because the ABC News Twitter account was hacked, and a prankster thought it would be funny to put out a false report that the Odd Future frontman had died in a tour bus crash. SMH!
It is nothing new that Tyler, The Creator constantly finds himself in the center of controversy. This time, he somehow got himself banned out of the entire UK! Fans were upset that the Odd Future head honcho had to unfortunately cancel a bunch of upcoming shows. Tyler addressed the cancellation and tweeted out, “BASED ON LYRICS FROM 2009 I AM NOT ALLOWED IN THE UK FOR 3-5 YEARS ( although i was there 8 weeks ago). THAT IS WHY THE SHOWS WERE CANCELLED.” Tyler’s manager Christian Clancy got into detail via his blog called The Phuckery, explaining that the lyrics in his songs “Bastard” (2010) and “Goblin” (2011) were being used against him and are the reason the UK government refuses to let him return.
A$AP Rocky and Tyler, The Creator have joined forces to take over the game together! The two rappers announced via Twitter that they will be hitting the road together for their upcoming “Rocky & Tyler” tour, kicking off September 19th of this year. The show will make a total of nine stops (for now) and will also feature the musical talents of Vince Staples and Danny Brown. Tickets go on sale this Friday, August 7th. More information about the tour and purchasing tickets can be found on their newly launched website, www.RockyAndTyler.com. Odd Future front man Tyler, The Creator released his most recent album ‘Cherry Bomb’ earlier in the week in digital only form. Now, physical copies are available and included is a bonus track titled ‘Yellow,’ featuring Columbian singer Kali Uchis.
After the release of Eminem’s ‘Detroit Vs. Everybody.’ Snoop Dogg drops a fantasy line-up for a potential ‘Los Angeles Vs. Everybody,’ with Kendrick Lamar, Tyler, The Creator, The Game, YG, Problem, Nipsey Hussle and Dom Kennedy. No word on of or when this is really happening. If this goes down, will there be a “New York Vs. Everybody” line-up? “Atlanta Vs. Everybody?” We can only dream. Check out the artwork in the gallery.
