Claiming that Texas Police savagely beat him, 34-year-old Reginald Deon Davis has filed a federal lawsuit. In the court statement, Davis stated that he was in Galveston, Texas –the place where the incident occurred– to attend a friend’s birthday party. After attending, he went to Denny’s and, too tired to make it home, decided to park his car on a beach and sleep. Despite his doing so, it was illegal to camp on the beach without a permit –which was found out by the abusive cops that pulled him from his car to arrest him.
