T.I. Won’t Make Next Album A TIDAL Exclusive Because His Fans “Can’t Afford It”

Though T.I. is one of many artists who holds shares in TIDAL, he’s not planning on releasing his next album exclusively through the subscription service. “This is an album that’s dedicated to my core fans,” he told Ed Lover about The Dime Trap. “The people who went out there the first week Trap Muzik came out, so I’m basically dedicating this album to them and making the music that I know they want to hear me make. So I know those people all of them can’t necessarily afford TIDAL. So we will have some exclusive content and exclusive components. I don’t know if the entire album will be exclusive.” Tip did make its first video, “Money Talk,” a TIDAL premiere earlier this year, however. Check out the interview below.
