Today Swizz Beatz has added yet another title: Global Ambassador of New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation. What does this mean exactly? Well, Swizz will merge the relationship between the arts and therapeutic healing. Executive Director Joe Schick explains best: “[Swizz Beatz] is committed to using his creativity, his innovation, and his international stature to help spread the HHC message on a global scale to promote better health in our city and our world.” Congrats Swizzy! La Marina has been uptown Manhattan’s little secret for some time, but this summer, it really became the “it” spot. Celebs, high profile ballers, models and more all spent their summer at the outdoor lounge, enjoying the weather, the view and of course, the drinks! The doors would shut down so early on weekend nights because it’d get packed to capacity within just a couple hours and though this year’s outdoor weather is coming to a close, the flyest couple on the planet definitely just set the tone for next year. Jay-Z and his wife Beyonce stopped by to promote Jay’s new liquor D’usse, and Swizz Beatz, Memphis Bleek and even Hot 97 PD Ebro were all in the building as well.
