Jay-Z released a crazy new track this morning on Hot 97 called “Open Letter,” produced by Timbaland and Swizz Beatz. Ebro and K. Foxx got Swizz on the phone just after premiering the record, and he explained to the listeners how the track came together. Listen up below.

May 14th everyone will be able to purchase E.V.E.’s album, “Lip Lock“. As of today, the cover art for the up-coming has been released. Features will include, Missy Elliot, Swiss Beatz, and, but not limited to Snoop Dogg Lion. E.V.E. says, “I’m not trying to relive any moments of my life. I’m in a new place in my life. I’m almost a new artist. It’s a fun record,” which is why she doesn’t want anyone to take this album too literal. We’ll hear it for ourselves come May. Alicia Keys just recently set out on a major tour with Miguel, her Set The World On Fire tour. Big shows like this leave artists away from their families for months at a time, so what’s her loving hubby Swizz Beatz and their son Egypt to do?! Go on the road with them! Despite his very busy schedule, Swizz found time to join his wifey on tour (at least for now) alongside their little guy, and he seems to be enjoying every moment! From constantly posting pics of Alicia’s set, to going sightseeing while she’s in rehearsal and even bringing his mom along for one of the shows, Swizz is making the best of it. Swizz Beatz was putting in WORK yesterday, as he had sessions at his studio with some MAJOR names in the business. I’m talking, SUPER major! One of them hasn’t even announced anything about new music, so could this be a sign that some is one the way? One of the others is working on his next album so it’s likely Swizz will play a part in that, and the third is working on Justin Timberlake’s album…but since he’s collaborated with the person I was just talking about in the past, perhaps he’s there to work with him!
