Snapchat is about to get even more lit. In the last few months, we’ve seen more and more geotags be rolled out for the cities we frequent, but we’ve also seen some special ones for one-time only events. For example, I attended Future’s Purple Reign tour in Reading, PA over the weekend, and he had his very own tour filter for the night! (You can check it out in the gallery.) Now, you’ll be able to make your own events more special, as Snapchat has rolled out a feature for an “on-demand” geofilter that allows people and businesses to pay for custom filters. Prices range from $5 to in the thousands, and it depends on variables such as whether you’re going to need it for one hour or one month, and whether you need it to cover 20,000 square feet (part of a city block) or up to 5,000,000 square feet (several city blocks.)

This is actually quite sad. Two men who were accused of murder scream out their social media accounts while in court. Albert Lavern Taylor and Dennis Ezell Gibbs Jr. along with two others were charged with murder. They were also charged with possession of a weapon during a violent crime, assault and third-degree battery. These young men clearly finds this case to be a joke.

Snapchat is the new addicting trend today! Everyone is getting Snapchat savvy these days. Well, I guess everyone but Jay-Z apparently. During Super Bowl, Usher was taking a video of Jay and the Queen B. During the video, Jay shared the news that he didn’t even have a clue was Snapchat was. I guess when you so busy working you have no time to keep up with trends.

Chance the Rapper teased fans on Snapchat last night with a preview of his highly anticipated third mixtape. Fans originally expected the follow up to his second successful tape Acid Rap, around Christmas however it wasn’t ready. To satisfy fans, Chance previously released two tracks off the forthcoming tape – “Angels” feat. Saba and “Somewhere in Paradise” feat. Jeremih. In two nine second clips, Chance raps, “If one more label try to stop me/It’s gon’ be some dread head n*ggas in ya lobby.” Check it out below.

Sunday night, Lil Wayne and Birdman put aside their beef and reunited once again on stage at LIV in Miami. Birdman toasted to Lil Wayne and cleared up any questions about their relationship saying; “This my motherf*cking son, and I’mma die for him, I’mma live for him, and I’mma motherfucking kill for him. That ain’t gonna never change, n*gga. It’s YMCMB for life.” Birdman added to his speech saying “But you bitch n*ggas that be saying my name, pull up! And I ain’t gonna pull up talking. You heard me. believe that. Rich Gang for life, nigga.” It was assumed that Birdman could have been talking about Rick Ross who sided with Lil Wayne during their beef. It now appears that may Ross has responded to Birdman’s comments with a snapchat video. Check it out below.
