On Monday night, YG premiered his short film Blame It On The Streets in his hometown of Los Angeles, following screenings in New York City and Atlanta. Since he was in his own city, this by far was the biggest screening of the three, and tons of his famous friends showed up to support – from frequent collaborators DJ Mustard and Ty Dolla $ign, to Too $hort, Sage The Gemini, DJ Carisma, Eric Bellinger, IamSu!, Hit-Boy, Karen Civil and even the superstar herself, Ms. Fergie Ferg. The latter recently recruited both YG and Mustard for her new single “L.A. Love (LA LA),” which they all performed together at the American Music Awards on Sunday night. The screening went down just moments after the Ferguson decision was announced, and both Ty and IamSu! spoke on their disappointment while walking the red carpet.
