NBA: Coach Gregg Popovich Arranged & Paid For the Spurs to Get Drunk After Playoff Elimination!

Yesterday everyone was stunned to see the footage of the San Antonio Spurs completely wasted after a night of partying after they were eliminated from the playoffs.  So where was the stern coach Gregg Popovich?  Well it turns out, he organized and paid for everything!

The San Antonio Spurs suffered a heartbreaking elimination from the playoffs after a game winner from Chris Paul gave the Los Angeles Clippers a 111-109 win.  No worries because apparently they drank their sorrows away and partied like champs at a nightclub afterwards.

After winning the 2014 Finals MVP, Kawhi Leonard of the Sand Antonio Spurs just added more hardware to his trophy case, winning the 2015 Defensive Player of the year award. Leonard beat out front runners Deandre Jordan and Draymond Green of the Los Angeles Clippers and Golden State Warriors respectively.


NBA: Gregg Popovich Says Spurs Were Pathetic & He Hopes They’re Embarrassed After Overtime Loss to Knicks

On Tuesday night the New York Knicks pulled off stunning 104-100 overtime win over the San Antonio Spurs.  The Knicks became the first team in NBA history to enter a game with a sub-.200 win percentage at least 60 games into the season and beat the defending champions according to ESPN Stats and Info.  The San Antonio Spurs are in playoff contention but they’re fighting for home court in the strong Western Conference and a win against the Knicks should’ve easily helped them towards that goal.  Following the loss, Spurs coach Gregg Popovich was expectedly upset and ripped into his team.

Tim Duncan will go down as one of the greatest if not THE greatest power forward to ever play in the NBA but even he is entitled to a bad game, especially since he’s on the latter end of his career.  Before Sunday, Tim Duncan‘s 17-year NBA career had consisted of 1,310 regular-season games and 234 playoff games. On Sunday, in a 116-105 win over the Bulls, something happened that has never happened once in any of those 1,544 previous games: Duncan did not make a shot.
