The New York Jets have been searching for a franchise quarterback and though they unexpectedly had a substantially better season with Ryan Fitzpatrick last season, he helped blow their shot at the playoffs with a loss to the Buffalo Bills. Embattled San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick could be the answer to their problems. Kaepernick became a breakout QB for the 49ers gaining so much notoriety, they parted ways with Alex Smith. Things turned sour however after they missed the playoffs for the second year in a row which included Kaepernick being benched midseason and a second coaching change. Now Kaepernick reportedly wants to play with the Jets but their new star receiver isn’t welcoming him.
NFL: Bills GM Buddy Nix Says They Must Draft a Quarterback Even If They Have to Trade Up
