NFL: #1 Pick Jadeveon Clowney Signs $22 Million Dollar Contract With Houston Texans

The Houston Texans made it official today with their number one pick in the NFL Draft. Clowney signed a contract worth a guaranteed $22.22 million dollars with $14.5 million of that already given to him in a signing bonus. The removes any doubt that Clowney would have to hold out during summer practices while his contract was worked out. The 6-foot-5, 266-pound defensive end left high school as the No. 1-ranked player and shattered a South Carolina record for sacks, notching 13 in 2012. His 24 sacks in three seasons rank third all-time for the school, and he left college ranked fifth in forced fumbles and tackles for loss among active big college players.

(Video) NBA: Troy WHO? Troy Daniels Hits Biggest Shot Of Career To Give Rockets Desperate Win Over Blazers

The same player who only played 75 total minutes this entire NBA season and spent most of the year in the NBA D-League, just hit the biggest shot of the Rockets season. Rookie Troy Daniels, whom most of you would not know if you don’t follow college basketball, stepped up and scored nine important points for the Rockets when they needed them most. But the dagger was the three pointer he hit with only a few seconds left that gave the Rockets the win in game 3 over Portland and avoided going down 3-0 in the series. Daniels a rookie from VCU had a solid college career, but didn’t impress enough to make an NBA roster. But he did enough work for the Rockets to sign him to their D-League team and boy are they happy they did. They called him up late in the season and be barely played. But like a true baller, he was ready when his name was called. Had the Rockets lost it was pretty much over as no team has comeback from being down 3-0 in a best of seven series. The Blazers now lead 2-1 with game 4 coming up. These types of plays from unknown players is part of what makes spots great. Hit the jump.

(18+PHOTO) MLB: Hacked or Accident?! Red Sox Player Tweets Pic of Woman’s A$$

Maybe he was just bored in Chicago after the game — or it was an accident — or he was hacked?!  Late last night Boston Red Sox rookie Xander Bogaerts tweeted out a picture of a woman taking a selfie of her ass.  My guess is she sent it to him and he accidentally sent it out.  The tweet was later deleted … and then his page was deleted, but we still have the pic.  I’m sure we’ll hear that he was hacked.  C’mon rook!  Check it out…
