But unlike most farewell shows, the last episode on Thursday, August 11 was not filled with tears. Instead, George Lopez kept audience laughing from the beginning with his monologue. He finished the program with help from celebrity friends and final guests Eva Longoria, Arsenio Hall, Slash and Lakers players, Ron Artest and Derek Fisher. Artest added validity to the claims by posting a photo of a fan holding a Jets jersey with his number and the name “Metta World Peace,†a moniker he is still petitioning to have made his legal name.  Check it out after the jump…
