I mean, Marvin Gaye really was an icon, so for Lenny to get this role, it is a once in a lifetime deal. I think he’d play a GREAT Marvin Gaye, but Marvin Gaye the 3rd doesn’t want Lenny to have any parts in the film. The two have been friends since their school days (I’m sure M.G.3 wants Lenny to be successful), but M.G.3 says, “The producers and directors of this film are very wrong and shameful … [They’re] trying to do a film about a low period in his life. They don’t even know the whole story.” Maybe the producers can make a few changes and add some positives. We’ll see. Drop down bottom for more. JaaiR (JR)
