The serial killer, Rodney Alcala, finally admitted his crimes that occurred more than 30 years ago in New York!  He pled guilty to raping a flight attendant in 1971 and murdering a Hollywood club heiress in 1977. Although the only reason he pled guilty was so he can fight capital punishment in California that he had received  a couple years ago for the murders of other women.  He wanted to stay in a NY prison and get unlimited use of material that would help him fight his death sentence.
