This year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will be one for the books! Although the annual fashion show is not scheduled for several months, Victoria’s Secret already has fans of the show buzzing about the musical line up for the event. Every year, Victoria’s Secret features music’s top performers in their annual fashion show and never one to disappoint, last year’s VSFW featured Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande and Ed Sheeran. This year’s line up however, trumps all and we can expect Rihanna, The Weekend and Selena Gomez to rip the runway alongside the infamous VS Angels. The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will air on CBS on Dec. 8 at 10 p.m. ET.
Rihanna Reveals She Experiences Racism During Business Deals Quite Often!
She might be a tad bit late but even Rihanna is realizing that racism is very much so alive and real. The 27-year-old pop star recently had a sit-down with Miranda July for an interview with T: The New York Times Style Magazine. “You know, when I started to experience the difference — or even have my race be highlighted — it was mostly when I would do business deals,” she explained during the interview while speaking on coming to America from her native country of Barbados. “And, you know, that never ends, by the way. It’s still a thing,” she said. “And it’s the thing that makes me want to prove people wrong. It almost excites me; I know what they’re expecting and I can’t wait to show them that I’m here to exceed those expectations.” Unfortunately, this is the harsh reality of the world that we live in.
