Just like Outkast, the people have been waiting to see Prodigy and Havoc get back together to create great music. After last summer’s blow-out on twitter came about, no one thought that they would see it happen, but apparently that’s not the case. The 20th Anniversary Tour is one of few that the rap duo is scheduled to be in – dates have yet to be released – and there is another show (or shall I say festival) coming up. 2013 is really the year of the comeback! From Justin Timberlake to Juelz Santana to Destiny’s Child and now even 90’s hip-hop duo Kriss Kross! Chris “Mac Daddy” Kelly and Chris “Daddy Mac” Smith have announced their reunion…though just a one-time thing…to perform at So So Def’s 20th anniversary concert next month in ATL. Jennifer Lopez was in the room with multiple exes at the Golden Globes last night, but she kept it classy as ever! In fact, both her and her ex Diddy gave her other ex, Ben Affleck, a standing ovation when he won an award! Following the awards show, the after party went down at the Beverly Hilton. (Video) Big Boi Beats Around The Bush About Outkast Reuniting
During his sit-down with Huff Post Live about politics, Big Boi expresses his feelings towards Andre 3000 stating, “That’s my best friend. Our kids play together. We’re just not joined at the hip the way everyone wants us to be.” The host asked Big Boi, when would Outkast be reuniting or coming out with another album. He simply replied, “When you see him sitting right next to me, where this pillow is, then you’ll know.” Well of course we’ll have it figured out by then. I think that this duo is letting things build up. Because the people want the two to link up again so badly, when they come out it’s going to be HUGE. Big Boi also mentions something about the two connecting on the Frank Ocean joint named, “Pink Matter.” It was just something that he was holding off on because, “I didn’t want to do a commercial release on somebody else’s album,” BB throws in.
