Google unveiled a new initiative last night to bring the internet to people who just don’t have proper access to it, and they’re going to do it with balloons. The name of this experiment is called Project Loon & it’s from the Google X division, their “moonshot” group that’s working on the self-driving cars & Google Glass. This is very ambition & very commendable of Google to do. Even though a lot of people today are more connected than they’ve ever been, there’s a very large number that still have either very limited access to the internet, or none at all, despite what companies like Microsoft may want you to believe with it’s Xbox One.
