I mostly watch Hockey games to see the fights, who doesn’t love a sport where the refs allow them to fight.  The Penguins and Flyers were quick (about one shift, to be exact) to renew their torrid love affair during Saturday’s meaningless regular season finale. The Flyers sent out Harry Zolnierczyk to go after Pittsburgh’s Joe Vitale, who was responsible for several hard hits in last week’s game, including one that injured defenseman Nicklas Grossmann and the hit that began the game-ending Royal Rumble homage.  Check the videos out after the jump. @Shay_Marie x @gametimegirl
NHL: Fan Throws a Banana Peel at Flyers’ Wayne Simmonds in Racist Attack
The Philadelphia Flyers and Detroit Red Wings played in a neutral site exhibition game Thursday night in London, Ontario. While the 4-3 win for the Red Wings was the result, the story was an apparent racist incident during the shootout.  Read more after the jump. @Shay_Marie x @gametimegirl
