April showers bring May snowstorms? That seems to be the case for the Midwest. While those of us in the NYC area have been enjoying great May weather, the Midwest is currently under at least a foot of snow! Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin are facing closed roads, power outages, and more after the snowstorm yesterday. Although the region has had snow in May, it has never been as much as they currently have. In some areas there is up-to 18 inches of snow and the temperature has dropped down to 30 degrees.
