Rob Gronkowski and Odell Beckham Jr. were on ESPN‘s Bristol campus Wednesday as the finalists for the 2016 “Madden” Cover Vote. OBJ won and simultaneously became the youngest player to receive the nod. Since they were there, ESPN took the opportunity to spend some quality time with the two NFL stars. In an attempt to get to know the men behind insane one-handed catches and spiked football celebrations, they asked them some random questions.
Odell Beckham Jr beat out the Party boy tight end Rob Gronkowski, to become the youngest player at 22-years-old to grace the cover of Madden. With only 12 games under his belt, Beckham Jr still managed to have a magical rookie season that earned the Giants wide receiver offensive rookie of the year award and a trip to Hawaii to participate in the pro bowl.
And then there were two. The Madden franchise has continued their new tradition of allowing fans to vote on which NFL superstar gets to grace the cover of one of the oldest continuing titles in video games. New York Giants Wide-reciever Odell Beckham Jr., one of the original four stars to be voted upon, has the chance to become the first Giant to appear on the cover, with the winner being announced on Thursday.
