(Video) A NYC Man Gives A Shivering Homeless Person His Shirt And Hat On The A Train

Good Samaritans do still exist, and believe it or not many are right in New York City. Passengers of the A-Train headed towards Brooklyn caught a touching video of another passenger identified as “Jay” hand over the shirt off of his back and the hat off of his head to a shirtless and shivering homeless man who was also on the subway. As if Chinese spots aren’t questionable enough, one restaurant might be a lot less busy after a patron caught the workers fighting off raccoons that were trying to get into the kitchen. Now these animals usually run off when approached by humans but this group was fearless and held on to the door even when hit by a broom. Scary to imagine why they were going so hard . . . (Video) First Medical Marijuana Dispensary In NYC Is Officially Open For Business!

As we reported earlier this week, New York City was finally ready to hop on the bandwagon and legalize medical marijuana in the Big Apple. Of course some cities have weed completely legalized already – medical or not – but at least baby steps are better than no steps! Columbia Care opened its doors today in Union Square, and for now, will only serve patients with extreme ailments under a doctor’s orders. And don’t expect to get your prescription and walk in here and buy all of your favorite strains and edibles – they are limited to processed concentrates and oils that can be inhaled through vaporizers. NYC Man Saves Woman From Falling Elevator And Dies Saying “Happy New Year”

New York’s Stephen Hewett Brown will be remembered a hero. Thursday night on New Year’s Eve, Brown valiantly sacrificed himself to save a stranger from a falling elevator car that would have crushed her, but crushed him instead. (Video) Cops Shut Down Mack Wilds Midtown Champagne Celebration

Mack Wilds, who we star opposite Adele in her music video for ‘Hello’, was busted by cops in Midtown for stopping traffic to have a champagne celebration in the street. Alongside some friends, Mack had a spontaneous photo shoot in the middle of 47th Street and 6th Ave, probably celebrating the success of the album which has already gone four times platinum.
