NFL: Colts QB Peyton Manning Will Miss Opener on Sunday; Streak Will End
Posted by Sabrina B. @gametimegirl Peyton Manning won’t play in the Indianapolis Colts’ Week 1 game against the Houston Texans, team vice chairman Bill Polian said in a taped interview with ESPN New York 1050 that will be aired at 1 p.m. ET. The Colts earlier this week released a statement saying the quarterback was doubtful to play and was told not to practice as he tries to recover from offseason neck surgery.
