Pusha T is an interesting artist, as he’s not exactly a radio darling, though he does have a solid fan base. Are they cult-like though, like that of some of his rap peers? Eh, not as much. His debut solo album seemed like it wasn’t going to come, as his labelmate Big Sean put out 2 albums in the time he and Push had been signed to the same label, and his CEO Kanye West put out a handful of projects as well. Last night, Pusha T celebrated the release of his debut album My Name Is My Name with a concert at Gramercy Theatre in NYC, presented by Hot 97 and his clothing line, Play Cloths.
