Looking for something to do New Year’s Eve? Well, you may not want to brave the masses in NYC where MTV will be shooting their mega end of the year bash, but you can always watch it on TV from the comfort of your living room! MTV announced today they’ll be closing out 2011 with an “explosive night” featuring performances from Demi Lovato (the host), Selena Gomez, J Cole, Jason Derulo and Mac Miller. ‘Yo! MTV Raps’ Set To Return To The Airwaves With ‘Classic Cuts’!!
After 16 years off the air, MTV’s popular show “Yo! MTV Raps” is set to make its return during a special called, “Yo! MTV Raps: Classic Cuts.” The 30-minute special will feature an array of MCs including Tribe Called Quest, Scarface, Ice Cube, Wiz Khalifa, Questlove, Busta Rhymes, Naughty By Nature and Young Jeezy, all reminiscing on three influential videos: “Scenario” by A Tribe Called Quest, “My Mind’s Playing Tricks on Me” by Geto Boys and Ice Cube’s “It Was a Good Day”.
