After more than 14 hours of deliberations over the course of three days, the judge has declared a mistrial in the case of Baltimore police Officer William Porter who was one of six officers charged with the death of Freddie Gray. Tuesday, the jurors told the judges they were deadlocked, and unable to reach a unanimous decision.The jury resumed talks Wednesday morning but were still unsuccessful in reaching a verdict.

Buju Banton Awaits Ruling On Mistrial Request
Buju Banton the Grammy award winning Reggae artist was convicted of drugs and weapons charges in 2011 following an arrest in 2009. A juror in the 2011 case has come under pressure after a Miami newspaper article claims she improperly investigated the case during the trial. The juror maintains that she did not in fact do any research on the case until after the trial, but could this get the famed singer off? Facebook Photo Leads To Mistrial In Murder Case
Public defender, Anya Cintron Stern, was fired Wednesday as someone reported a photo Stern took of her client’s underwear and posted on Facebook. The judge declared a mistrial and must assign a new lawyer. The leopard-print underwear was part of the clothing defendant, Fermin Recaide, was suppose to wear for trial.
