For his birthday, Mike went out to Tru night club in Hollywood, and no sooner then him and his team walking through the door gunshots are heard. Mike Epps Involved In Club Shooting
What’s with these comedians and trouble? Last night, Mike Epps was celebrating his birthday at Tru nightclub in L.A., when his crew and some other club goers got into a heated argument, which led to someone firing off a gun. At that point, everyone booked it and thankfully, no one was hurt in the shooting, which was more of a “warning shot”. However, two women claim they were trampled when everyone ran for the door. Cops are currently investigating, and would like to speak with Epps to sort out what happened. It doesn’t seem like he had anything to do with the actual shooting, so he should be good to go. Guess Who Richard Pryor’s Widow Is Hoping To Play Her Late Husband In A Movie
A new film about jazz legend Nina Simone is in the works, and the character of Richard Pryor will have an appearance in it. The man tapped to do so thought it’d be the right thing to reach out to Pryor’s widow just to get her blessing, and in doing so, may have set himself up for an even bigger part! Jennifer Pryor was so touched by the gesture, she’s now strongly considering him to play Richard in an entire biopic about him! Have any guesses as to who? Beyonce Reportedly Pissed About Lauryn Hill Snub Before Her BET Awards Win
Comedian Mike Epps and R&B boyband Mindless Behavior co-presented the award for Best R&B Artist last night at the BET Awards, and made a quip toward Lauryn Hill’s recent tax woes in their dialogue. Mike Epps Speaks Out About His Daughter’s Police Complaint Against Him
A little earlier, we told you how comedian Mike Epps is currently at odds with his 18 year old daughter, Bria. Bria says her father is disrespectful and she’s tired of it, and released audio of Mike in a recent verbal argument between the two where Mike is throwing out curses left and right. Since we only heard Bria’s side of things, we can’t really jump to conclusions and point the finger at Mike. I know sometimes “parents just don’t understand” but often times kids don’t either! Mike Epps’ Daughter Files Complaint Against Him To Police & Releases Audio Of Him Cursing Her Out
This is a messy situation. Mike Epps is currently at odds with his 18 year old daughter Bria. Apparently the pair had argued because Mike didn’t mention her during his recent visit to the Wendy Williams show and Bria was upset about it. According to Bri, the things her father was recorded saying on the audio (below) is all too common, and she’s tired of the disrespect. She says she released the audio not for fame or for greed, but because she hopes the backlash she expects it to bring him will cause him to change for the better. While what he says IS pretty bad, we don’t know the whole story. Children can be SO disrespectful to their parents and we don’t know what she’d said to him prior, nor do we know the nature of their relationship at all. I hope this gets resolved soon, because a great father-daughter relationship is something to truly value and it’s a shame when that gets messed up.
