For those who have been keeping score, comedians Mike Epps and Kevin Hart have been having a war of words via social media ever since Epps called Hart overrated on a radio show. Things have gotten quite harsh with Epps saying that Hart is an indentured hollywood servant and Hart retorting by threatening to book shows in cities that Epps books in order to shut his shows down. Now, TMZ caught up with comedian DeRay Davis, whom is friends with both stars, and he offered up an interesting battle to settle the score.
As we previously reported, comedians Kevin Hart and Mike Epps had a public fall-out via Twitter and things got pretty nasty (although I was glued to my TL with a bag of popcorn because their fight was even better than cable TV.) However, word on the street is that the beef is complete BS and a straight up publicity stunt. Kevin Hart slipped up and spilled the beans that the whole rather personal and nasty fight was all to “entertain on social media” since the two are fond of their on-line networking apps. WHEW! See what Kev had to say below!
Today, Mike Epps made an appearance on Dallas radio station K104’s DeDe In The Morning Show, where he got to speak on “real” acting and kissing men in movies. Although that’s pretty weird as is, he also spoke on none other than Kevin Hart, saying that he feels that he’s overrated. It didn’t take long for Kevin to comeback. His route: Instagram. And he made sure to aim directly at Epps with his photo caption. Check out the interview and response after the jump!
Comedian Mike Epps is under fire after a woman claims to have gotten punched in the face by Epps at an after-party for the “Haunted House 2” premiere. According to Epps, the woman (who he had a past with) came up to him and his wife and began acting belligerent, forcing him to have his security escort her out of the venue. However, the woman is claiming not only is she NOT a groupie, but she’s a famous actress named Simone Shepherd! Word on the street is that she used to be Epps’ ghostwriter back in the day. Although Epps and his crew are denying any physical altercation ever went down, Shepherd has some pictures that prove otherwise. Check them out in the gallery!
A woman is claiming comedian Mike Epps punched her in the face after the premiere for “Haunted House 2” this past Wednesday night. Epps was apparently at an after-party at Lucky Strike in Downtown Los Angeles with his wife when the woman, who apparently had previous sexual relations with Epps, wanted to confront him about something. The woman said she then got punched in the face by Epps and proceeded to file a report with the police. However, the LAPD is saying there was no sign of injury on the woman when they arrived to the scene. Witnesses also said Epps laid not ONE finger on the woman. According to Epps, she came up to him and his wife getting out-of-hand and his security was asked to escort her out of the party. Hmmm, sounds like a classic case of the crazy side-chick to me!
