In honor of her father, pop icon Michael Jackson, Paris got a beautiful tattoo. She took to her Instagram to share the tattoo which is a portrait of her father’s eyes.
So apparently, someone has zero respect for the legendary Michael Jackson. They decided to make a clip as to how it would sound if MJ would have made trap music. Ludacris was clearly not feeling the clip as he posted it to his IG with a few ‘WTF’ emojis.
Michael Jackson’s estate just got $750 million richer, as Sony Corp. just bought out the late singer’s share Sony/ATVMusic Publishing. Sony Corp. will now take over MJ‘s 50% stake in the joint venture that was launched in 1995, now owning copyrights for some of the biggest songs ever made – like “New York, New York,” “Jailhouse Rock,” “I Heard it Through the Grapevine,” “All You Need Is Love” and “The Mission Impossible Theme.” The estate will keep all songs written by MJ, as well as some of the songs he purchased from other artists during his lifetime. This has some hardcore fans very upset, as this venture was a big deal for Michael when it came to fruition in 1995. His estate hears the rumbles, and have issued a lengthy statement explaining their stance:
Neverland Ranch is on the market, and if you have $100 million and time to deal with a complicated deal that still has ties to the late Michael Jackson, then Colony Capital wants it to be yours! According to TMZ, Colony Capital bailed MJ out when he was about to lose the ranch prior to his passing, excusing the massive debt he owed on the property and taking the title. Unfortunately, this put them in the red around $70 million. If and when the property sells, Michael’s estate would get some of the profit, which is a portion in excess of what Colony Capital invested. Check out a video of the property that they posted to YouTube below.
As previously reported, a white actor by the name of Joseph Fiennes has been cast to portray Michael Jackson in an upcoming made-for-TV film in the UK. Naturally, many people have been up in arms over this, and an old interview with MJ and Oprah even resurfaced, where Michael is adamant that he’d want an African-American man to play him, saying that because despite his skin disease making him pale, he’s still a proud black man at the end of the day. Of course, the troll of the century, Stacey Dash, feels otherwise.
