On this day, August 4th, one year ago, Nicki Minaj dropped her hit single ‘Anaconda’ from her Pink Print Album . Today, one year later, in honor of the song, Madame Tussauds wax museum unveiled their heavily anticipated wax statue of the rapper. The wax figure is modeled after a scene from the ‘Anaconda’ video. Since the museum announced they would be having a Nicki Minaj statue in their Las Vegas location and gave us a sneak peak of what it would look like, people were complaining it didn’t look like Nicki. However, now that it’s finished I think they nailed it. Hit the jump to see more.

Rihanna is no stranger to the Madame Tussauds wax museum, as she already has figures in London, Germany and Washington D.C. Each is modeled after a different video or look that Rih has sported at some time, and they’re pretty spot on. For some reason, the one unveiled in Las Vegas at the Venetian isn’t sitting as right with me. The body is perfect and the hair she has definitely sported, but the nose looks…too wide? She almost reminds me instead of that rapper Rye Rye. Simultaneously, they unveiled a new Rihanna figure in Hollywood as well, and that one looks much better.
