Five-year-old JP Gibson is battling lymphoblastic leukemia and was signed to a one-day contract with the Utah Jazz.  He took part in the team’s blue and white scrimmage Monday (along with taking part in a full Utah Jazz day). Along with having the time of his life, he also showed some moves, just breaking the ankles of Steve Novak, blowing by Dante Exum and throwing it down with the help Rudy Gobert. It was a super sweet moment and a great gesture by the Jazz.

The Utah Jazz signed 5 year old free agent guard, JP Gibson, to a one-day contract. JP has been diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. The Jazz went above and beyond for the little guy; the team literally made a dream come true, from signing an “official” contract with president Randy Rigby to playing in a scrimmage while wearing his very own #1 jersey.
