(Photos) Joe Budden Released From Prison

He’s baaack! After an astounding 24 hours, Joe Budden is a free man once again. The rapper turned himself in to police custody yesterday morning, after a warrant was issued for grand theft and larceny when his ex-girlfriend accused him of stealing her cell phone in an argument. Though he was pretty confident it’d be a quick bid upon entering the courthouse (“I’ll be out in time for the strip club later,” he tweeted just before 10am yesterday,) he seemed to be losing his optimism as the day wore on. “Eating cheese sandwiches, down for the weekend,” Joe tweeted at a little after 1 this morning. “Smh.” However, things worked out in his favor, and by 7am today, he was released. Also, he opted out of the cheese sandwich and went with a large quantity of apples, in case you were worried about his diet. No word on what will go on with the charges from this point, but we’ll keep you updated.

(Photos) Joe Budden Turns Himself Into Police

Joe Budden’s current Twitter avi After a domestic dispute with his now ex-girlfriend Audely Robles last weekend, Joe Budden has turned himself into police custody on a robbery charge. The New Jersey rapper was accused of stealing the 25-year-old bartender’s cell phone, which in a tweet last night, he revealed was a phone he bought with a plan he paid for. That certainly does add some clarification as to how one would feel justified in taking it, especially since the incident reportedly occurred because he saw photos of Audely hugged up on another man, but I’m not sure if that will clear him of the official robbery change. I’d have to know a little more about the laws of those things, but Joey seems confident that “justice will be served.” In a series of tweets last night, Joe joked about turning himself in, calling it simply a “minor setback to my bday orgy.” His 34th birthday is this Sunday, but it looks like he just may be a free man by then. Around 8 a.m. this morning, Joe began tweeting from the jail as he prepared to turn himself in, making jokes about the fact that they have wifi and things of that nature. After 2 hours, the jokester still had his cellphone, and promised that he’d be out in time for the strip club tonight. Either he’s overly optimistic or has gotten some new info, but I guess we’ll see soon! Check…

(Video) Man From MTV’s ‘True Life’ Suing For Being ‘Set Up’ In Drug Deal By TV Show

Not sure if it’s just me, but I always wondered how the people on these reality TV shows never get caught after they openly buy and use their drugs for the whole world to see. David Nickell, who was on MTV’s “True Life: I’m Addicted to Pills” TV show, is suing the station for apparently getting him set up. He claims the producer of the show told him to buy pills off of his dealer and then give them to a woman in front of her 5-year-old child. He says he was ASSURED he would not get into any legal trouble. However, after the show aired and authorities saw it, Nickell and the woman who he gave the pills to were arrested and the prosecutors used the video footage from the show to prosecute them both. He had to serve seven months in jail. Nickell is currently suing the producer, MTV and Viacom. SMH! Check out a clip from the show below.

Update On Meek Mill’s Prison Bid: It’s Not Looking Good

As previously reported, Meek Mill was jailed after his probation was revoked earlier this month, because the judge on his case said the MMG rapper kept changing his phone number and didn’t provide his P.O. with a new one on purpose, slandered both the judge and his P.O. on Twitter, booked shows outside of the city of Philadelphia without getting them approved first, and posted a photo on Instagram with a gun. Though it was reported he’d only remain behind bars for 3-4 weeks of the 3-6 month sentence, it’s almost definite that Meek will be jailed until September at the earliest. Meek’s lawyers filed a petition last Thursday to request an emergency hearing and/or for Meek to be released on bail, but the request was denied. In the petition, Meek’s legal team argued that not only did his alleged violations not warrant prison, but that the jail sentence was unconstitutional, because the judge did not hold two hearings and give Mill written notice of his violations before she jailed him.
