NBA: Doc Rivers Says ‘Ideally’ Danny Granger is a Starter

Danny Granger was traded from the Indiana Pacers to the Philadelphia 76ers.  He and the Sixers later agreed to a buyout and he signed with the Los Angeles Clippers.  It remains yet to be seen how effective he can be while healthy as he’s had many setbacks while with the Pacers.  Clippers coach Doc Rivers however believes Granger is “ideally” a starter.

NBA: Update on Andrew Bynum’s Playing Status

Andrew Bynum is still working to improve his conditioning and Thursday he participated in some three-on-three drills. Bynum might be available for game action soon, although head coach Frank Vogel doesn’t know when that might happen.

NBA: Report, Danny Granger Will Sign With Clippers Today!

The Western Conference in the NBA just got a little more interesting. According to reports, Danny Granger, who will clear waivers today at 5pm, will sign with the Los Angeles Clippers and expects to play Saturday when they play the New Orleans Pelicans. After the Pacers traded Granger last week to the terrible Philadelphia 76ers, he immediately began working on a buyout. Let’s face it, who wants to go from a championship contender in the Pacers, to a joke of a team this year in Philly. The Heat & Spurs seemed like the more likely destinations for Granger, until the past few days when the Clippers seemed to be more involved. He is not the player he used to be a few years ago, but adding his ability in Los Angeles definitely makes them even more of a serious threat to Oklahoma City & San Antonio in the west. The Deal should be completed by this evening.

NBA: Danny Granger Wants to Join the Heat But They Prefer Someone Else

Danny Granger was traded from the Indiana Pacers to the Philadelphia 76ers.  Of course he was unhappy with the trade going from a championship contending team to a team tanking for the top lottery pick.  The Pacers found Granger disposable after injuries sidelined him and Paul George emerged in his absence.  Granger has made it quite clear that he doesn’t want to stay with the 76ers and they’re expected to buy him out so he can become a free agent.  His destination of choice is the Miami Heat but they have someone else in mind.

NBA: Paul George Says the Pacers are the Seattle Seahawks of the NBA

There’s a lot of ways this makes sense.  Both teams are defense driven and built from the ground up with surprise good draft picks.  They’re also a very tight-knit group and has good offense although people don’t list it as one of their attributes.  Let’s not forget, their trash talk is both on another level.  That describes both the Indiana Pacers and Seattle Seahawks.

NBA: Indiana Pacers Sign Andrew Bynum

There was an Andrew Bynum sighting in Indiana that threw everyone into a frenzy.  It turns out of course he wasn’t just randomly in town, the Indiana Pacers in fact do intend to sign the difficult center.
