David West had heard this type heckling, a last resort from fans of opposing teams who understand their team has lost. Last week in Brooklyn — after the Pacers resoundingly beat the Nets, 103-86 — West responded to those hecklers with a reference to Billy King and the construction of a $190 million struggling team: “Blame the GM,” West wrote on Twitter.
Danny Granger returned to action for the Pacers on Friday, playing 22 minutes off the bench in his team’s blowout win over the Rockets. The Pacers are pretty stacked and are now led by Paul George who emerged during Granger’s injury caused absence. How Granger will fare is still unknown but if he plays well and adds to the team’s championship hopes they can keep him or trade his expiring contract for more assets. For right now they’re looking to keep him and see how he does.
The Indiana Pacers have been one of the top teams in the NBA this year and on Friday night they continued their path of destruction by steamrolling the Houston Rockets. In the second half as the Pacers continued to pull away, Paul George got ahead on a fastbreak and decided to put on a little show by finishing with a double-clutch reverse slam dunk.
Danny Granger has missed the first six weeks of the NBA season due to a strained left calf and Friday was a good day as he wa able to go through a full practice with his teammates.
Growing up in and around New York City housing, there were times that seeing a rat was no big deal because you had seen them 100 times already. But the last place you expect to see rats is inside of a professional sports locker room. Well the Indiana Pacers need to get on point with cleaning their facility because they got rats! CJ Watson snapped a pic of one of the dirty dead rats being removed and you know damn well if there was one, then there are more. Hit the jump for the images.
