(Video) Erykah Badu Apologizes (SORTA) To Iggy Azalea

UPDATE: Iggy Azalea responded to Erykah Badu’s apology video via Twitter, saying that she accepts and appreciates it. She even went as far as to acknowledge Badu’s joke about her kids loving Iggy but acting up in school. She said, “Tell the kids I’m a big fan of mom, even if we don’t agree where to file my music in their iTunes folder.” She then revealed she will be going on tour soon & invited Erykah’s kids and friends (if they have good grades) to a show anytime. While hosting Ms. Badu took a shot at Iggy Azalea while acting out a skit. While answering a pretend cell phone, Badu said, “Who is this? Iggy Azalea? Yeah, hey… no, no, no, you can come, ’cause what you doin’ is definitely not rap.” Following the awards, Iggy came back from her social media hiatus to respond to the comments. Since then things got quiet between the two, that was until Erykah Badu opened up her Twitter for a Q&A with fans. One fan asked her, “why you do Iggy like that” and her answer turned out to be a video apology to the rapper from down under. Check out out below.

Iggy Azalea Wants NO Parts Of Rita Ora’s ‘Lady Marmalade’ Remake Idea

In a recent interview with The Sun, British baddie Rita Ora revealed her idea she has had for awhile of getting Iggy Azalea, Charli XCX and Miley Cyrus together for yet another remake of the smash-hit song “Lady Marmalade.” Unfortunately, Iggy Azalea has announced she is NOT with the sh*ts.

Rita Ora Wants To Remake WHICH Famous Song?

It looks like Rita Ora has a few special plans in the works! The British song-bird recently revealed to The Sun that she is dying to remake the hit-song “Lady Marmalade.” The track was originally released in 1975 by LaBelle and was then remixed back in 2001 by Christina Aguilera, Pink, Lil Kim and Maya. However, Rita has some new things in store for the track.

Iggy Azalea Reveals Sophomore Album Title + New Music Details

Iggy Azalea has been quiet on the music front for some time now, as she took a while off to enjoy her engagement with NBA star Nick Young – and to stay away from the excessive amount of fans/critics she’s seemed to rub the wrong way. However, it appears she’s quietly been working on new stuff, and she revealed on Twitter yesterday that her sophomore album has already gotten a title. While replying to a fan, Iggz announced that the follow-up to The New Classic will be titled Digital Distortion, and the first single is coming this month! Do you think she can make a comeback following all of the controversy she’s seen in as of late?

T.I. Clears Up Iggy Azalea Situation Says He Still Works With Her

Earlier this week T.I. stopped by Hot97 to promote his brand new EP ‘Da ‘Nic’ and also explain just why he had a falling out with Iggy Azalea. This sparked a nerve with Iggy who claimed via Twitter she wasn’t aware that there was an issue between them. Just as she predicted on her during her Twitter rant, Tip has now clarified what he meant during the Hot97 interview. According to T.I., everything is all good between the two. He claims his comments were taken out of context and Iggy is like a little sister to him and remains signed to Grand Hustle. Hit the jump for more.

Iggy Azalea Responds To Incorrect Reports That She No Longer Works With T.I.

Okay, I don’t know if I heard this interview wrong, but I truly think that everyone is taking T.I.’s comments out of context. Yesterday, the Grand Hustle CEO appeared on Hot 97’s Ebro In The Morning to discuss his new EP, Da’ Nic. While there, the topic of his artist Iggy Azalea came up, and he admitted he hadn’t spoken to her in some time. Tip spoke on the fumbles she took in her short time in the game, and how at one point (after the Q-Tip debacle) he had to take a step back and let her fumble on her own…but never once in that situation did I hear him say he is no longer working with Iggy. In fact, when discussing what she needs to do to get back on course, he named himself as one of her many resources for when she chooses to do so. I took this interview as him saying he wasn’t holding her hand anymore, and he hadn’t talked to her merely because she hasn’t been doing anything musically and only spending time with her fiancé, Nick Young.
