NBA: Rockets Rookie May Walk Away From NBA
Houston Rockets rookie Royce White may soon very well give up all the fame & fortune that comes with the dreams of playing in the NBA. White has a severe anxiety disorder, that Houston knew about before drafting him. White does not like to fly and have taken a bus to some of the teams away games. His fear of flying is no joke, and even though he and the rockets talked before the season how to best handle everything, he is starting to feel like Houston is not doing enough to help him with his disease and because of that he may very well retire as a rookie. “Fear the Beard” as pure excitement has taken over the league and Houston fans with the James Harden trade. Since the Oklahoma City Thunder traded him to the Rockets, Harden has dropped 37, 45 and 24 points consecutively in his first three games.
