(Photo) NBA Store Briefly Sells ‘Beat the Heat’ Thunder T-shirts

Sabrina B. It looks like the NBA Store jumped the gun yet again. For a brief period on Friday evening, a “Beat the Heat” Oklahoma City Thunder T-shirt (pictured above, Full pic below) was being sold on NBA.com. If you look carefully, you’ll notice an NBA Finals logo at the bottom of the shirt. Even though the Thunder have already clinched a spot in the Finals, the problem is their opponent hasn’t been determined. The Heat and Celtics play Game 7 of the Eastern Conference finals on Saturday, so there’s no point for Thunder fans to already concentrate on beating the Heat.

Sabrina B. LeBron James played Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals like a video game for which he had the cheat codes (he had 30 points at halftime). Not surprisingly, his historic performance didn’t go over so well with the Boston fans. As the three-time MVP walked off the court after dropping 45 and 15 on the Celtics in a 98-79 win, he was showered with what seemed to be someone’s drink. James stopped to look around for a second after getting sprayed while a member of the Heat staff looked noticeably upset.

(Photo) NBA: Whoops! ESPN Called Last Night’s Heat-Celtics Game A Little Too Early

Sabrina B. Despite doing a good job and giving good effort, the Miami Heat lost to the Boston Celtics 94-90 last night, moving them to the brink of elimination. You know this. We know this. The people behind the NBA on ESPN’s Facebook page certainly know this. Unfortunately for the latter group, though, according to multiple screengrabs, the NBA on ESPN’s Facebook page (briefly) posted something that made it appear they did not know this:
