Android KeyLime OS Should be Released by March

Word is Google might plan on releasing Keylime OS sooner than later. According to IB Times Google may try to release the OS sometime later this month instead of May. This would mean Google may have 5.0 os already in works, which would be good just in time for the mid year releases of Android phones (Updated Nexus 4, Galaxy 4, and the X Phone). The new update should be fixing small bug issues that Google is having with its devices. Android 4.2.2 may launch as early as ”mid-February or mid-March.”

The Galaxy Brand is Becoming Bigger Than Android

We know Samsung’s Galaxy brand is starting to take on a life of its own, so much that the Galaxy brand is becoming more popular than Google’s Android brand. Should Google be worried? According to Analyst Benedict Evans yes, Google should be worried because they have’nt released their X Phone. A callbo with Motorola, with the Galaxy brand becoming so popular can a new flagship android phone hit the market and becoming as popular as the Galaxy. According to Benedict Evans, using Google Trends graph Samsung has been on a steady climb and for Google thats bad news, the Galaxy brand could eventually overlaps the Android brand.

Google To Release Keylime Pie OS This Spring

According to Android police who got their hands on some documents, the site says the announcement could be announce at Google’s annual I/O conference which is slated for May 15th through the 17th this year.

Google To Drop New Nexus 7 In May

Looks like Google is looking to make another return with a new Nexus 7 device in May. According to Digitimes the new Nexus Tablet will be built with partner Asus along with Google of course. The rumors are saying Google is not doing an overhaul of the device but more revamps and fixing things here and there, the big improvement will be the full 1080p high-definition display. The Tablet will run on Google’s “upgraded Jelly Bean-based Android operating system to enhance integration between the software and the hardware.” I suppose Google is not finished working on Keylime, so the tablet will stick with Jelly Bean for now.
