Google Sells Travel Guides To WHO?!?!?

Google purchased Frommer’s travel guides just a few months ago and just last month decided to do away with the printed version of the popular travel guides. Bing is also joining in with the April Fools Day fun. On Bing’s website if you search for Google, the page turns into, what looks like Google’s search page. Bing places its on logo on top and instead of the “I’m feeling lucky” button, it says “I’m feeling Confused”.

Google Does Something Different With Their Logo

President Obama in 2011 proclaimed March 31st, Cesar Chavez Day. Google normally sticks with decorating its logo for that particular holiday or special event. It’s unclear why the company chose Chavez’s Birthday instead of Easter.

SMH…. This Gmail Setting Is NOW Permanent

Last October, Google released a preview of the new Gmail set up and that version came with an option to turn off the new composition setting. Well, starting today, the pop=window will be a default in Gmail’s web client. The company received a lot of positive feed back so they decided to keep it. Pretty soon, all Gmail accounts will have the compose in the corner.
