(Photos) NBA: Lil Wayne & Gabrielle Union Spotted Courtside at Heat/Celtics Game 1

Sabrina B. The way LeBron James and Dwyane Wade are rolling right now, one bad quarter is hardly too much for the Miami Heat to overcome.  And with that, the Heat are three wins from another trip to the NBA Finals. James scored 32 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, Wade scored 10 of his 22 points in the fourth quarter, and the Heat beat the Boston Celtics 93-79 on Monday night in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals. Lil Wayne and Dwyane Wade’s girlfriend Gabrielle Union were courtside for the game.  Check a couple pics…

NBA: Doc Rivers Vents About Technicals & Says It’s The ‘Worst I’ve Ever Had’‎

Sabrina B. Boston Celtics coach Doc Rivers, tagged with one of five technical fouls assessed against his team in Monday’s Game 1 loss to the Miami Heat, let off some steam during his postgame news conference and could be donating some money to the league for venting.

(Video) NBA: Metta World Peace Booed By Thunder Fans Throughout Game 1

Posted by Sabrina B. @gametimegirl The buildup to Game 1 between the Thunder & Lakers focused largely on it being the first meeting between the teams since World Peace got a seven-game suspension for elbowing James Harden. He returned just in time to help L.A. win Game 7 against Denver. A sold-out crowd at Chesapeake Energy Arena wasn’t nearly as happy to see him back, although World Peace was hardly fazed by the chorus of boos that greeted him during pregame introductions or again whenever the ball came his way.

Boxing: Floyd Mayweather Allegedly Bet $1.8 Million On Clippers (Game 1)!!

Posted by Sabrina B. @gametimegirl If this rumor is true, Money Mayweather is one lucky man!  He almost lost $2 million if the the clippers hadn’t made an epic comeback last night to steal game 1 against the Grizzlies. Chris Paul begged coach Vinny Del Negro to put him back into the game for the fourth quarter and not give up despite being down 21 points.  The result was another Clippers comeback – one of the greatest in NBA playoff history. Paul hit a pair of free throws with 23.7 seconds left, and the Clippers rallied from a deficit that had been as much as 27 to stun the Memphis Grizzlies 99-98 Sunday night in the opening game of their Western Conference series.

MLB: Cardinals Beat Rangers 3-2 In Game 1 of World Series

Posted by Sabrina B. @gametimegirl Nelson Cruz saw the ball slicing off Allen Craig’s bat, sprinted to the foul line and slid, desperately trying to run down the tailing liner.  “It was close,” the right fielder said. He came up just short, and so did the Texas Rangers. Craig’s pinch-hit drive landed an inch or two in front of Cruz’s outstretched glove for a go-ahead single off reliever Alexi Ogando in the sixth inning, and that was the difference as the St. Louis Cardinals beat the Rangers 3-2 Wednesday night in a chilly World Series opener.
