The ‘Rinse: Born & Bred’ festival made an announcement today. They have decided to cancel their headline appearance Azealia Banks. I’m assuming its due to the many Twitter arguments that she has been engaging in.
Ice-T puts togethers a classic lineup for his annual “Art Of Rap Festival”, with this year’s headliners to serve as Public Enemy & Mobb Deep. Also on tour will be, Naughty by Nature, Grandmaster Melle Mel and Scorpio, EPMD, The Sugarhill Gang and Kurtis Blow. The tour kicks off in Dallas, TX July 16. Hit the jump for the dates.
Over the weekend J.Cole performed at Shaun White’s “Air + Style” event in Los Angeles. In-between his own hits, Cole payed homage to Hip Hop legend, The Notorious B.I.G. The crowd went crazy as he transitioned from his own banger and fan fave “Who Dat” to the classic record, “Hypnotize” and flawlessly rapped the lyrics. The “Air + Style” event is just one of many festivals J.Cole is expected to perform at this year. He’ll also be headlining Bonnaroo in June. Check out the performance below.
