Oh NO! NBC Cameraman Tests Positive For Ebola After Working In Africa!!

Ashoka Mukpo is a 33 year old America freelance cameraman who was working for NBC News in Liberia. He was hired on Tuesday to be a second cameraman for NBC News Chief Medical Editor and Correspondent Dr. Nancy Snyderman. Unfortunately he will not be able to complete this assignment because he is being flown back to the U.S. to receive medical treatment for the Ebola virus. Read more after the jump…


(Video) Mt. Sinai Patient In NYC’s Ebola Scare Retells Experience Of 72 Hours In Quarantine!

The ebola virus is rocking the world, the first suspected American case having popped up at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. Fortunately it was a false alarm and patient, Eric Silverman, was released from quarantine after 3 days in the Manhattan hospital. Silverman had just returned from Sierra Leone in West Africa, when he reported suffering from symptoms similar to infected victims. The Brooklyn native is now retelling his dreadful experience, from his time in an isolated room in an intensive care unit to having doctors treat him in “space suits”. Ebola Outbreak Out Of Control In Congo

According to the World Health Organization, the disease ebola risks being spread to major towns if not brought under control. The death toll has doubled since last week to 31. There is no known treatment for the deadly disease. Click below to read more. Jason J.
