Domestic Violence rears its ugly head again in the MLB. This time, with Atlanta outfielder Hector Olivera. He was originally placed on administrative leave back in April after an alleged incident with an unidentified woman at the Braves’ hotel. Now, it’s really real, no dough.
Defensive end Greg Hardy did a one-on-one interview with ESPN’s Adam Schefter. In the interview, Hardy reiterated his innocence and said that he never put his hands on any woman ever in his life. Schefter questioned him about the pictures of his former girlfriend Nicole Holder who looked abused and Hardy implied they were doctored or he was defending himself, I don’t know. In any event, Hardy’s former teammate Steve Smith Sr. posted an excerpt of the transcript from the interview and called Hardy out. Smith played with Hardy for four seasons (2010 to 2013) with the Carolina Panthers.
Great news for Joe Budden. His pending charges for domestic violence and grand larceny have been dropped after he pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct for allegedly beating up his ex-girlfriend and robbing her in Washington Heights back in 2014. One of the greatest mc’s of all time expressed his joy via twitter. Hit the jump for the full details on the story.
Former L.A. Lakers player Samaki Walker is adamant he did not attack his girlfriend in a motel parking lot last week. His accuser however says Walker is lying and was violent.
A shocking report was released today that the ex-girlfriend of Johnny Manziel, Colleen Crowley told police that the Heisman Trophy winner told her “shut up or I’ll kill us both” after forcing her into a car, hitting her, and dragging her by the hair. What’s even more shocking or probably not, is that the Dallas police will not charge Manziel for the incident (a second time).
