Oh my! Joe Budden is once again embroiled in a domestic violence rumor, which, if you’ll recall, also happened in 2011 with his then-girlfriend, Esther Baxter. Those rumors never really were confirmed, however, as both parties maintain their side of the story to this day. The newest rumor involves Joey’s latest girlfriend, who began dating the New Jersey rapper earlier this year. In a series of tweets last month, however, Joe revealed they’d already broken up, but in photos at his house posted to Audely’s Instagram account as recently as last week, it appeared they were on the way to a reconciliation. I’m guessing that’s no longer the case now, though…


NFL: League Considering Plan For 1 Year Ban For Domestic Violence Incidents

The NFL suffered such backlash after the Ray Rice 2 game suspension that they’re thinking about banning players for one year for future domestic violence incidents. Hit the jump for details.

Domestic violence is a touchy subject for anybody, especially if you have personal history with an issue like that. Yesterday Ray Rice spoke for the first time since being suspended by the NFL after his situation with his now wife back in February. Rice apologized profusely and seemed to really feel what he had done and genuinely wants to change his life moving forward. Not long after his press conference though, 76ers rookie Joel Embiid sent out a random tweet but given the timing it seems to be a shot at Rice, before almost immediately deleting it. Stephen A. Smith got in trouble after his comments on First Take concerning domestic violence.  He said women should not “provoke” an attack and many felt he was blaming women for the domestic violence attacks that happen to them.  Since then he has clarified what he really meant and apologized three times, twice on Twitter and once on air.  Following his apology on First Take, ESPN decided to suspend him for a week, a punishment Smith thinks is deserved.
