The golden boy of the NFL may soon find himself watching Patriots games from home just like another fan. After the Wells Report was released and essentially called Brady a cheater and said he personally knew the balls were being deflated, reactions have been very mixed. The ball is now in the commissioner’s court and he is expected to rule this week but the Patriots are already preparing for the worst.

The Super Bowl between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks is set for this Sunday, February 1, 2015 and Deflate Gate is still the main topic of discussion. Whether or not the Patriots intentionally deflated their footballs during the AFC Championship game against the Indianapolis Colts is still under investigation but many people think they are guilty. With the game approaching so soon, it’s highly unlikely the Patriots will face any punishment there. Hall of Fame receiver Jerry Rice and former San Francisco 49ers great gave his opinion on the matter.
NFL: #DeflateGate, Patriots Employee on Video Taking 24 Footballs into the Bathroom for 90 Seconds
The NFL is continuing their investigation of #DeflateGate and apparently have a break in the case. The first tangible evidence other than footballs being underinflated emerged Monday, when Jay Glazer of FOX Sports reported that a Patriots employee took a bag of footballs that had been inspected and approved by officials into a separate area. That individual has become, per Glazer’s report, a “serious person of interest” as to the question of how the footballs came to be underinflated.

The Super Bowl will take place next Sunday between the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks but instead of beefing up the war between the two teams, a dark cloud hangs over the league (yea another one). This time it’s Deflate Gate; the Patriots are accused of deflating their footballs prior to the AFC Championship game against the Indianapolis Colts in which they won 45-7. It sounds like the NFL is not taking “Deflate Gate” laying down and is launching a very serious investigation. We had been expecting to hear from the league today but it was starting to get late in the day and a statement seemed unlikely and then suddenly we have this. The Patriots better be prepared because it seems the league is about to do some very serious digging.

Mark Brunell got very emotional yesterday on ESPN after Tom Brady held his press conference addressing the deflated balls issue. Brunell was hoping to feel like he got a truthful answer from Brady, especially being a former quarterback himself, but he clearly did not like what Brady said and did not hold back. I must admit Brady appeared to be lying about everything, but it is so tough to know for sure. Jerome Bettis was also part of the show and called Brady a liar as well.
