Blows [PAUSE]! So, a few short months ago [back in August], Jim Jones took to everyone of his social media to call out Dame Dash – a “culture vulture” and a thief to be exact. Here we are pushing winter, and the beef continues. Dash had to be poking fun at Jimmy when he posted to IG, a picture of himself, Cam’ron and a couple of other individuals with the caption, “…at the crib with [the] only living original diplomats.” That pushed a button or two belonging to Jimmy. Of course, the Vamp Soda creator hoped on the picture taking medium to clap back in a, ‘I’m-Gonna-Get-You-Sucka’ type ‘o way. Hit the jump for more.
You’ve probably heard about Jim Jones going on Instagram and calling Dame Dash a “culture vulture” and a thief. Dame Responded on his own Instagram saying he didn’t understand why Jim would do that and stating they can talk out their problems. They have both known each other for a long time, so Dame must’ve done something or made a move that did not sit well with Jim. Dame has responded to the situation with Jim via this video below.
I was fairly late, but just recently I was able to sit down and watch Lee Daniels: The Butler – awesome movie! I told myself that I would have to get more involved in the director’s other work, which includes “The Woodsman,” “The Paperboy” and “Precious” (I did see this one). No soon after, this news drops – all of these releases Dame Dash has invested in. However, he’s seen not one red cent in return. In comes the lawsuit papers. Dame is suing Daniels for a hefty amount. Find out more below.
Dame Dash talks his ish again in his brand new visual for ‘This Is Why I’m Here’ featuring Smoke DZA, NYMLo, Alexandra Estevez and Evaanz. The Dame Dash directed visuals are set in Dash’s restaurant located in DUMBO, Brooklyn.
Dame Dash isn’t new to this! He told VladTV about being an entrepreneur since he was a young kid. He claimed that even tho he’s not proud of selling crack during that time, it prepared him with a mindset to strive for better. After seeing a kid get killed in the street, which was played out in the movie “Paid in Full”, he just wanted out of that life and soon he started going to industry parties with his cousin. That helped to motivate Dame to utilize his hustling skills because he felt like in that room full of people, none of them were real hustlers. Watch the video clip after the jump…
