NBA: LeBron Holds Players Only Meeting, Wants Cavs to Have Mindset He’s Always Had

The Cleveland Cavaliers are 11-4 and No. 1 in the Eastern Conference but LeBron James is still disappointed in his team after the Raptors defeated them 103-99 on Wednesday night.  The Cavaliers held a players-only meeting during which LeBron James and James Jones got on the team for its inconsistent play.

LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers were focused and ready to go on Wednesday night during their game against the Toronto Raptors.  According to the commentator, it’s the Cavs new thing to stand and wait for the opposing team to come out and meet them at center court.  Apparently they don’t care who’s already on the court which in this case was the Raptors dancers.

Is this shade?  It kinda sounds like it.  As you know, LeBron James was without the other two star players as Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love were both out with injury as the Cavaliers faced the Warriors in the NBA Finals.  Irving is still recovering from a fractured knee cap and Iman Shumpert, Timofey Mosgov and Mo Williams are sidelined as well.  Despite all that the Cavaliers are currently 11-3 with the No. 1 spot in the Eastern Conference.  The Warriors have begun the season firing on all cylinders at an undefeated 15-0, tying an NBA record.  So what’s the key to the Warriors success?  According to LeBron it’s health.

LeBron James has always been a player with a lot of hype around him, though he’s never been one to brag or flex on other players. Last night, it seems the “king” had enough as he subbed himself out of the game and caused the Cavaliers to be charged with a technical foul.

  The Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors look to be on a crash course for a rematch in the NBA Finals. The Warriors are 14-0, dominating the Western Conference and the Cavs are 8-3 leading the Eastern Conference in the early parts of the season. While their focus is obviously on basketball, LeBron James and Draymond Green are avid sports fans and their love for college football has led to a wager.
